Barbie and her best friend are excited for prom tonight and they have made an appointment at a new beauty salon in town. They closed their eyes for the big reveal of their new hair and makeup, but at the end, when they saw themselves in the mirror, they screamed in horror because they looked horrible and very old fashioned. But there is still one hour to fix this, so don't panic! First you have to get rid of that excruciating makeup using makeup remover, then wash their curls with water and shampoo. Put Barbie's hair in a casual bun using hair pins and curl up her friend's hair. Then apply a tasteful makeup for each using a glittery eye shadow, mascara, blush and lipstick. The girls finally go to the prom and they are dancing and having fun until someone crashes into Barbie and spills a drink on her dress, ruining it. But don't worry, her friend has an idea! Take her sister's wedding gown and transform it into a fabulous party dress by cutting it up, dying it red and applying glitter in the right places. The prom is saved!
